The 2010 Thursday Championships wrapped up this week with some surprising results. The Championships are held over 3 rounds with players being able to drop their worst round. This was to be a see sawing event with the results in the balance right up until the last couple of groups to finish in the 3rd round.

Congratulations to Sam Batch who averaged a 2 over par score of 70. In what has become a bit of a Batch family dynasty, Allan has also won the Nett prize. It is worth noting that Allan would have been the runner up in the main event but players can only win one trophy. So in reality it was a one two finish for the Batch family. Congratulations to Matt Wogan as well for snaring the runner up prize. It was great to see that one of the gentlemen of the Club, Jim Mulgrew, play well enough to beat all but one player in the Nett event. Well done Jim. The full results are below.
