The 2010 Autumn Cup has been decided. The Autumn Cup is a 54 hole Gross event that incorporates the Monthly Medals of March, April & May. There is also a 54 Hole Nett event where handicaps are frozen as at the first round in March.
In a very exciting conclusion, Paul McLennan has won the Autumn Cup. His winning score of 215 (averaging just under 72 or 4 over Par) was the same as Matt Wogan but Paul had an unbelievable Par round of 68 off the stick (59 nett) in the last round to pip Matt in a countback.
There was also a countback in the Nett event with young Andrew Roach and Frank Farina having the same nett score of 187 averaging just over 62) . However Andrew’s nett score in the last round of 62 was better than Frank’s.
Both Paul & Andrew will recieve their trophies at the Trophy Presentation Night in November.
