Golf Australia has announced that the first package of Handicapping changes will be the 9th of April 2010.

The third link will give you an example of how the new method works. In this example the player is on a handicap of 11.9 under the current system. However under the new system, starting on April 9th, his handicap would be 13.2 using the best 10 differentials of his last 20 rounds.
