The AGM was held on Sunday 22 November with in excess of 70 Members in attendance. The AGM provides Members with the opportunity to ask questions of the Board and to express their views on issues affecting them.
The Club was able to reverse the very poor financial position it faced at the end of the 2007/2008 year. This year (2008/09) the Club recorded a profit of $23967 after covering depreciation and amortization of $152,520.
Following nominations and in the case of the eighth Director’s position an election, the Board for 2009/10 is President, Bob Macleod, Vice President, Bruce Parmenter, Treasurer, Steve Ascough, Captain, Paul McLennan, Vice Captain, Greg Carey, Greens Director, Peter Mansini, House Director, John McHardy and Director, John Shaw. The election for the eighth Director’s position saw Hillary Heindorf stand down from the Board after many years of great service. The Board’s appreciation goes to Hillary who has graciously agreed to sit on the House Committee for the next year.
