The 2009 Ashgrove Mens Foursomes was completed today. The Foursomes were made possible by the very generous sponsorship of RODE POOLS.

The event was held over 2 rounds with Phil Moschella & Mike Wills prevailing over Glen Downey & Peter Coles. Glen and Peter set a cracking pace with a Nett 59 in the first round but couldn’t quite maintain that pace and finished  the second round with a Nett 68. Phil & Mike had a very solid 62 1/2 in the first round and bettered that by one shot with a 61 1/2 today.  Phil & Mike showed once again that consistency is what wins championships.

Ron Van Haren and Justin Hogg also showed great consistency in winning the 2 round Gross event with scores of 74 and 73. This was excellent scoring in reasonably tough conditions.
