The 2009 Ian Ellis Memorial is to be decided by an 18 hole playoff between Peter Mansini, Peter Botfa and Andrew Florence. All 3 players finished with a nett 62. The playoff will be held on Saturday 17th October. Good luck to all 3 players.

The Ian Ellis Memorial is not only an Ashgrove Golf Club Honour Borad event but it is included on the BDGA calendar as a Angus Buchanan/Bill Kennedy (AB/WK) event. These are a series of events over the year that amateurs on handicaps less than 4 can compete in.

Ian Ellis was a very respected and long serving member of Ashgrove Golf Club, Golf Queensland & Golf Australia and this event is held every year to honour his involvement in golf.
